Location: Bremen, Indiana
Design Engineer – Medical Systems
Provides design and prototype support to the sales and manufacturing departments and assists manufacturing, as needed, in process flow and problem solving for Creative Foam’s Medical System.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Evaluate sample products for suitable materials, manufacturing applicability.
- Generate quotes on samples and sales requests.
- Build and maintain master files and R & D records.
- Develop CNC programs for dies and fixtures on various equipment.
- Enter all engineering changes, update files and document revisions.
- Coordinate materials, fixtures, tools and process flow for new products.
- Document and develop work instructions for new products.
PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:
- Computer skills (Solid Works, Master Cam, Alpha Cam, AutoCad, Work, Excel)
- Blueprint reading required
- High degree of organization and administrative skills
- Must have excellent math and communication skills
- Prior manufacturing experience helpful
- Mold design experience a plus
